We remember this restaurant mostly for our amusing attempt to create our own doggy bags. We had just been in Northern Ireland where taking leftovers to go was a strict no no (the Jennys survive on leftovers). Not knowing if this was the case in Gateshead, we snuck our trusty tupperware containers into the restaurant and proceeded to shovel half of our food into them. With a ratio of two servers to one table (us), our odds weren’t good. But we were victorious. And the food was very good (even cold!).
