When will you be coming again to Colorado? We have a band in our state whose music reminds me of,yours; Elephant Revival. Other than its musical color, and harmony it requires, even demands often, a quiet audience to experience the full thrill of sound. Thanks for your gorgeous harmony

It looks like the Jenny's haven't yet been in Texas. I would like to personally invite you! There are many great venues in the Hill Country, but my choice would be Luckenbach, TX. There's a great old dance hall that I think you would like. Willie, Waylon and the boys sure liked It! I've been a fan for years and have spread the word far and wide about the joy of listening to exceptional voices sing beautiful songs. If you have any interest in someday coming to my neighborhood, I will gladly assist in any way I can.

I just discovered your music last month, and I was immediately hooked. I am from the US, and in these post-election days, I am listening to "One Voice" over and over. It's giving me so much hope and strength right now. Thank you Wailin' Jennys for reminding us that humanity is capable of so much beauty and harmony. I know so many of us around the world will be continuing to join you in "singing with love and the will to trust" in the days and years ahead, hoping to leave the fear and hate behind so it can turn to dust....

Hello, ladies,
I am a social studies teacher at Mercy High School, an all-girls school in Omaha, NE, and I just wanted to thank you for making your music available on your web site. The music teacher and I have worked with some of the girls and formed an Irish folk music group that has performed around town at various festivals and for church groups. What caught our attention was your rendition of "The Parting Glass," which I heard growing up, listening to my parents' Clancy Brothers records. It's a great quiet song to close a performance. We have also used "Glory Bound" and "One Voice" with our band and in our show choir.

This note is an appeal to you to consider a stop in either Omaha or Lincoln (more of a college town 45 miles away with better venues) as a stop when you next tour the states. And should you do so, we would like to invite you to visit Mercy so you can meet some of your biggest fans!

Thanks,
Brooks Humphreys

I have to admit that I never heard of these gals until their music appeared on my Pandora station, which I have put a good amount of effort into creating with just the style I really like (the station name is Alison Krauss, so that says a lot). The more I hear the more I am REALLY impressed. I hope I can catch them in person some time. I would travel to see and hear them.

I saw you're planning to go to Dublin in March, if you have a chance you should try to eat at Dog House Blues tea house and restaurant in the harbor town of Howth, next to Dublin. I don't want to over sell it, but it will be the best experience of your entire life.
Gwyneth from Seattle wrote on September 21, 2016 at 4:56 pm:
I just ran across you guys on Pandora and your voices are so beautiful together they immediately grabbed my attention and I had to check you out! The song that got my attention was Long Time Traveler and I'm going to go listen to more of your music now. 🙂
Scott Winkler from Casco wrote on September 15, 2016 at 1:39 pm:
Greetings, Ruth, Nicky, and Heather!

Just had to let you know that in my creative writing class today, as we're studying the impact of imagery, a student provided an effective example from a song she loved, and as we discussed it, I told her it reminded me of the splendid images in "Asleep at Last." When I said "by The Wailin' Jennys" another student proclaimed, "The Jennys? I LOVE the Jennys!" It's splendid to hear of fine folks discovering your music and holding it in a special place (she also declared that she listened to your music all the way from Wisconsin to North Dakota, with "Long Time Traveler" being the most frequently played tune for her). The Winklers all hope you're well, and we look forward to seeing and hearing you again soon. All the best!

Hi there!
Have been following WJ for some years now and LOVE your stuff! I was also thrilled to be able to see Ruth Moody and her band in concert earlier this year in Seattle, WA. Blissful experience. 🙂

I've been trying to get ahold of the sheet music for Storm Comin, but no luck yet - could you please let me know who I should be talking to about that?

Hi! I'm the Pianist at Union Presbyterian Church in Endicott, NY. My pastor introduced me to your music and I absolutely love it!! I would like to know if we could get your permission to sing "Storm Comin'" during one of our church services. We would include your names as writers. It's such a moving, beautiful song! I've purchased it on iTunes and find so much beauty and emotion in it. Thanks so much!
